Half-Life 2 ReCharged (Formerly Half-Life 2 Overcharged Redux)

Half-Life 2 ReCharged is a total overhaul of the original HL2 Overcharged mod, built entirely from scratch. This project focuses on fixing bugs, enhancing gameplay, and refining features to create a smoother, more enjoyable experience. With a mix of SMOD elements and modern tweaks, HL2 ReCharged brings improvements to Half-Life 2 Overcharged.

Features:

Simplified Arsenal: Removed certain weapons to keep the gameplay more streamlined (around 15 weapons may not make the cut but still can be accessible via Console or the gun_test.bsp map).
Improved AI: Fixed NPCs to behave more intelligently and consistently in combat.
Entity Placement Overhaul: Better placement for smoother gameplay and level design.
Bullet-Time: Classic SMOD-inspired mechanics like Bullet-Time are included for added fun.
Rebuilt Content: Faithful recreation of most of HL2 Overcharged, with better optimization and fixes.
Enhanced Ragdoll Physics: A completely fixed and upgraded ragdoll system.
All-New Gib System: Enjoy a fresh gibbing system for that extra layer of visceral action.
No Steam ID bans: Fuck The SteamID bans.

HL2OR IS LOOKING FOR DEVELOPERS (Coder)

I, The lead developer of Overcharged Redux, is looking for C++ Developers to code for Overcharged Redux, why?, because we fired one of our coders for being childish and other reasons.

Requirements

3 Months of experience with C++.
6 Months of experience with the Source Engine.
At least 1 Source Engine mod has to be created by you.

Well, that's all... for now.

I think it's better to say and be the first one to say that given the behaviour of the lead dev in the community and their overall language shows little to no professionalism for this project. My take is that everyone should save their breath and prepare for a inevitable uttter disappointment once more. I think there should of been a better lead for this project than what it got, otherwise, well... I think this mod is simply just cursed in the way it is and won't shine in the way it was supposed to be. Maybe it is wrong to judge the mod so early by now, maybe it will be great? But I simply just won't get my hopes up for it.

Yes. I plan on improving the graphics and adding more shaders to make it more "tactical", those shaders are like bodycam and related stuff

You don't know what guest has done, just check the comments on my profile, not to mention stuff he's said in the overcharged discord

(mainly "noclicks **** is leaking" which he spams everywhere)

I have a question,we all know that overcharged has a lot of weapons and NPCs, but does it mean that you will remove weapons that low damaging enemies, or doesn't fit into the game , or doesn't make sense? is this the same for NPCs?
+ will this game be playable for PCs that have low RAM and Memory like 4gb or 6gb and that have Intel HD or **** like that?
+will this game be more blood and gore like brutal half life or SMOD?

1. The NPC's that dont fit in the game (like xentrees) are most likely are going to be removed
2. This mod will be playable with devices with 2 gigabytes of RAM (Hopefully)
3. Mostly SMOD
